Create your own video games with Scratch! This is a programming language which enables students to create interactive stories and games using drag and drop programming blocks to make characters move, jump, dance, and sing. Students see their characters come to life! Using code and loops to create games requires one to think outside the box to accomplish the game's intent giving us a glimpse into how long and hard it must be to develop and finish commercial games we play at home. Scratch Part II introduces advanced coding concepts including gravity, projectiles, nested loops and more.
